Maranello, January 19, 2026 — Ferrari has presented the 12Cilindri Tailor Made, a unique creation that elevates the brand’s ultimate personalization program by combining cutting-edge engineering with contemporary art.

Developed exclusively for the South Korean market, the project translates local tradition into unprecedented solutions in design, materials, and finishing.

The vehicle is the result of a multidisciplinary collaboration spanning three continents. From Asia, young South Korean artists — Daehye Jeong, Hyunhee Kim, GRAYCODE (jiiiiin), and TaeHyun Lee — took part; from Europe, the Ferrari Styling Centre; and from North America, the curation and vision of COOL HUNTING. Over nearly two years, the teams integrated Korea’s cultural heritage into the aesthetic language of the Cavallino Rampante.

The visual highlight is the new transitional Yoonseul paint scheme, created specifically for this example. Inspired by Celadon ceramics and the urban energy of Seoul, the shade features an iridescent finish that shifts from green to violet with blue reflections, evoking the shimmer of sunlight on the sea — the literal meaning of “Yoonseul” in Korean.

Inside, artist Daehye Jeong reinterpreted traditional horsehair weaving with a novel 3D fabric, applied for the first time in a Ferrari to the seats, floor, and soft surfaces. The pattern also appears screen-printed on the glass roof, creating plays of light and shadow. The dashboard houses a handcrafted work in Mongolian horsehair, integrating art and automobile in an unprecedented way, the result of cooperation between design, R&D, and creative partners.

Hyunhee Kim’s contemporary approach appears in translucent elements throughout the bodywork and cabin: Scuderia Ferrari shields, wheel caps, the identification plaque, and the Prancing Horse received an exclusive semi-transparent finish. Inside, the effect is repeated on the central tunnel, accompanied by a dedicated plaque with traditional calligraphy. Kim also developed a handcrafted trunk case conceived as functional luggage, as well as a personalized Ferrari key.

White takes on a central role in the project through the artistic research of TaeHyun Lee, known for his contemporary use of traditional lacquer. His vision resulted in the first white brake calipers ever offered on a factory Ferrari, as well as shift paddles in the same color, reinforcing visual contrast.

The GRAYCODE duo translated the sound of the naturally aspirated V12 into visual language. The rhythm of electronic music and the engine’s acoustic signature were converted into graphics applied to the bodywork using a darker variation of the Yoonseul paint, creating depth and movement — a technique presented for the first time on a model from the brand.

Creative coordination was led by Evan Orensten and Josh Rubin, founders of COOL HUNTING, with curation by JaeEun “Jane” Lee, in close collaboration with Ferrari’s design and engineering teams.

Inspired by the great V12 Gran Turismos of the 1950s and 1960s, the 12Cilindri represents the evolution of Ferrari’s front-engine, two-seat lineage. Under the hood, the new 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 delivers 830 hp at up to 9,500 rpm, with 0–100 km/h acceleration in about 2.9 seconds and a top speed exceeding 340 km/h. Integrated active aerodynamics, an eight-speed DCT transmission, and advanced electronic control solutions complete a package that combines extreme performance, comfort, and sophistication.

With the 12Cilindri Tailor Made, Ferrari reaffirms its ability to unite technology, craftsmanship, and contemporary culture in a truly singular automobile.
